About the role

We are seeking a Production Planner with astute business acumen to join the operational planning team.  

This role is uniquely positioned, requiring multifunctional collaboration within the business across various levels. You will be tasked with the engagement of Upstream operations, maintenance planning and scheduling, project engineering, production engineering, drilling and completions, and commercial teams. 

You will play a pivotal role in the modelling and optimisation gas supply and resourcing by co-ordinating short-medium term CSG Upstream production activities. This is a great opportunity to be exposed to wider business, allowing you to better understand process from exploration to delivery.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an optimised GLNG Upstream production forecast within the 120 day window aligned with the integrated schedule, including a reliable Upstream nomination outlook
  • Monitor and report on performance against the production plan within the 120-day window.
  • Provide inputs for GLNG Commercial to manage obligations 
  • Optimise the business outcomes, responsible for liaising on behalf of operations with Commercial to develop more economic commercial solutions to production schedule issues
  • Upstream gas and liquids point of contact for GLNG OPL, commercial, engineering to ensure integrated schedule production and cost outcomes 
  • Develop and maintain production planning tools that incorporate reliability and capacity data.

About you

We are seeking someone with proven business optimisation experience working within a multi-disciplinary team with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with site-based operations personnel, engineering, and management. A demonstrated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced, agile environment.

Experience required for this position includes:

  • Understanding of Capacity, loss and gas infrastructure networks.
  • Practical experience building and maintaining production planning models or a keen interest in developing in this area.
  • Process-driven with strong analytical skills.  
  • An affinity for working in a fast-paced and high performing, corporate environment where continuous improvement is a cultural norm.

Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or experience in a similar role.
  • Highly proficient in MS office products and data modelling / manipulation and ideally will be experienced in the use of SAP.
