As an ASX 20 global energy company, we’re committed to providing reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone.

To make it happen, we work as One Team and ask ourselves, “How can we?” (Even when others say, “We can’t.”)
We’re proud of our history as pioneers, problem-solvers, and pragmatists. And as we strive to achieve our Vision2040, we’ve got our sights set on a culture that is focussed and disciplined to drive value, and entrepreneurial and energised to leave a positive legacy.

The difference isn’t just thinking big – it’s delivering on it too.

As part of the team, you’ll tackle one of the most complex problems of our time. It’s no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.

What you’ll do:

  • Developing aviation contracting and commercial strategies.
  • Drive service efficiency and performance excellence across all aviation service providers.
  • Participate in emergency response and SAR planning and execution.
  • Act as an aviation subject matter expert (SME) in major incident and emergency response scenarios.

Background in the oil and gas sector is highly regarded. The ability and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, including remote locations is required, along with:
  • Experience in aviation emergency response and search & rescue (SAR) operations.
  • CASA key personnel experience under AOC/MRO frameworks.
  • Meets CASA requirements for key aviation personnel certification and conduct standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including NAA regulations (Civil Aviation Orders and Manual of Standards), IOGP aviation and HSE standards, and IATA/ICAO safety and quality frameworks.
  • Proficient in aviation hazard and risk assessment, safety management systems (SMS), incident investigation and root cause analysis, as well as operational auditing and assurance systems.
The following would be highly regarded:
  • Proven track record managing aviation operations in remote or complex environments.
  • Proven ability in fixed wing charter and multi-modal logistics planning.
  • Proven knowledge of RPAS integration within aviation operations.
