About the Role
This role is primarily responsible for the supervision of Development Execution’s (DevEx) contractors and electrical construction activities in Eastern Queensland and New South Wales.

Please not we have 2 opportunities available, both based in Roma on a 2:2 FIFO roster, out of Brisbane airport.

Key accountabilities include:  
  • Ensure compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS) and safe work procedures through verifications, audits, and meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to cost reduction by challenging designs, contractor methods, and practices.
  • Minimise risks to construction and well schedules.
  • Support high-quality installations through site inspections and punch list walkdowns.
  • Provide commissioning support and review contractor documentation.
  • Engage with stakeholders on safety, environmental, and land access issues.
  
About You
We are looking for two qualified Electrical Supervisors to join our team at Santos. Your ability to supervise contractors, projects and stakeholders is key along with your excellent communication and influencing skills. Other required experience includes:
  • Extensive experience in a similar role in electrical and/or construction preferably within oil & gas or mining.
  • Experience supporting commissioning activities and managing contractors on site
  • Queensland and/or South Australian and/or NSW open Electrical licence.
  • Competencies for working with electrical equipment for hazardous areas (EEHA). 
  • High Voltage (HV) Trainee Operator & High Voltage (HV) Operator (desired but not essential)
