What you’ll do:
Based in Moomba and working a 2 and 2 shift you will join our team as a High Voltage Linesman, where you'll ensure the safe and cost-effective execution of scheduled maintenance under the guidance of the CMT Team Leader. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining high standards and eliminating rework on equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write, review, and check HV documentation and schedules.
  • Troubleshoot HV faults and respond to network issues outside business hours.
  • Provide back-up HVPA duties.
  • Communicate effectively with operations personnel and landholders.
  • Supervise on-site contractors.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to meet goals.
  • Resolve maintenance issues with support engineers.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments.
  • Plan and execute scheduled shutdowns and manage emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with schedules and update standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain production equipment.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and new starters.
  • Respond promptly to critical equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest improvements.
  • Complete all scheduled statutory PMs.

What You’ll Bring 
  • Electrical linesman trade certificate
  • High Voltage training certification
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry or related fields
  • High Voltage experience, particularly with overhead lines
  • Dual Trade qualification (Linesman and Electrical Technician)
