What you’ll do:
Based at our Brisbane head office, the Integrity Engineer is responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and regulatory compliance of upstream static equipment and pressure systems across the asset. The role develops and maintains sustainable Integrity Management Plans (IMPs), implements risk-based inspection and maintenance strategies, and monitors compliance with statutory requirements, IMP commitments, and Integrity Operating Window (IOW) limits. 

Providing discipline-specific technical support across the full asset lifecycle from design through to decommissioning playing a critical role in safeguarding operational safety, maintaining asset performance, and driving continuous improvement in integrity management.

Key accountabilities include:  
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise Integrity Management Plans (IMPs) to support sustained asset integrity and reliability.
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory, industry, and company integrity requirements, and monitor compliance.
  • Define scopes of work for integrity-related maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Identify integrity risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies based on asset criticality and operating context.
  • Conduct Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments and provide recommendations to safely extend equipment life.
  • Contribute discipline-specific input to FEED activities to support life-cycle integrity of new or modified assets.
  • Lead investigations into equipment issues and failures, including root cause analyses and technical reporting.
  • Use asset management systems and tools (e.g., CMMS, integrity platforms) to track and manage asset condition.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance asset performance and integrity practices.
  • Complete required reporting accurately and on time in line with business and regulatory expectations.

What you’ll bring:
You will be experienced in:  
  • Background in asset integrity or static equipment engineering
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles, NDE techniques, and integrity repair methods
  • Proficiency with CMMS and asset integrity management systems
  • Working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API 579)
  • Proven ability to conduct RCA and contribute to technical investigations
  • Experience developing and implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) programs (Desirable)
  • CPEng (or equivalent) and RPEQ registration are highly desirable.
  • Recognition as a Technical Authority in a relevant discipline (if applicable)
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified (or equivalent) in Engineering Mechanical discipline preferred
