About the Role
The Maintenance Coordinator supports the efficient and cost-effective maintenance of the Moomba Plant by coordinating and assisting Mechanical and Instrument/Electrical supervisors. They also execute planned and reactive maintenance activities aligned with the 14-day schedules, ensuring seamless delivery of preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, equipment overhauls, shutdowns, and project upgrades, as well as promote continuous improvement and operational reliability, driving the success of the Cooper Midstream's assets.

Key accountabilities include:  
  • Deliver on schedule compliance.
  • Deliver on work execution quality.
  • Drive schedule compliance within the team.
  • Work closely with the Moomba Plant Process coordinator to eliminate missed maintenance opportunities and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Engage with mid-range and long-range planners to identify shortfalls in labour or materials ahead of the execution period.
  • Manage schedules from SAP and other maintenance tools.
  • Carry out step-up Maintenance Supervisor duties if required.
  • Support MDCRs, BOMs, parts issues, TIN reviews, and updates to ensure information is current and correct.
  
About You
You build relationships and a collaborator, skilled at working across teams to deliver quality and efficiency. Whether it’s partnering with technical engineering, project teams, or key maintenance contractors, you have the skills to align efforts and challenge processes to get the best results.
With significant experience in the Oil and Gas industry (or a similar field), you bring proven expertise in systems, tools, and industry standards. Experience working with Rotating Equipment, Reciprocating Engines, Compressors, or have exposure to High Voltage and Instrumentation is desired, but not essential.

Ideally, you will have tertiary education or relevant industry experience in a technical field. A Trade Certificate Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation is essential.
