About the Role
Based at our Brisbane headquarters, this role is responsible for vetting and planning all corrective work orders to ensure their successful execution for specific production fields, including The Cooper Basin and EQD.

The role requires technical expertise to effectively address site requirements, as well as coaching and developing the team to continuously enhance performance and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities:
  • Screen incoming CM work orders, identify scope, and analyse the required level of planning. Engage with engineering to update BOMs and Task Lists as needed.
  • Identify specific safety hazards in proposed work and ensure all aspects of the company safety policy are incorporated into job plans.
  • Ensure work order planning quality for field execution, including adding parts, resources, and documentation to execute safely and efficiently are in line with the company's Masterplan.
  • Achieve optimal serviceability of plant and equipment to ensure reliable operation in the most economical and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide input to engineering on the effectiveness and suitability of the RMP/IMP based on maintenance program and corrective maintenance work performed.  
  • Maintain the integrity of maintenance plans by developing strong networks with purchasing and supply personnel to ensure timely availability of parts and equipment and facilitate the repair of breakdowns as required.
  • Ensure compliance to Operational Excellence standards and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with and adherence to standards for EHS performance and behavior consistent with Company’s environmental, and health & safety vision and policies and standards Liaise with internal and external parties, including local authorities and regulators.
  • Drive continuous improvement in existing preventative maintenance strategies and maintain the asset management system, implementing best practices across all assets.  

About You
You have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in planned maintenance outages and project management. Your positive attitude and strong communication skills encourage collaboration between site and contractor teams during outages and work activities.

Your effective planning and ability to handle feedback ensure compliance and smooth operations. This skill set is essential for maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and achieving success in your role.

Ideally, you also have experience with maintenance business processes, strong CMMS knowledge, and a solid understanding of oil and gas processing equipment.

Additionally, expertise in CAT, Waukesha, Superior engines, Ariel, Gemini, Dresser, Nuovo, Frick compressors, as well as Garrett Ruston and Siemens turbines, is highly desirable.
