Description & Requirements

Don’t come for an easy career. Stay for a rewarding one.
At Santos, we do work that matters and always have. When you join us, so will you.

As an ASX 20 global energy company, we’re committed to providing reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone.

To make it happen, we work as One Team and ask ourselves, “How can we?” (Even when others say, “We can’t.”)
We’re proud of our history as pioneers, problem-solvers, and pragmatists. And as we strive to achieve our Vision2040, we’ve got our sights set on a culture that is focussed and disciplined to drive value, and entrepreneurial and energised to leave a positive legacy.

The difference isn’t just thinking big – it’s delivering on it too.

As part of the team, you’ll tackle one of the most complex problems of our time. It’s no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.

What you’ll do:
Based at our Roma Logistics Hub, this position focuses on performing warehouse tasks to ensure the timely supply of inventory, along with the receipt, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials.
It offers a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in warehousing and storage within a busy and supportive team environment.
As this role follows a 2on/2off roster, we are ideally seeking a Roma based local resident candidate.

Responsibilities for the role include:
  • Accurately receive goods and ensure the integrity of inventory, including the movement and storage of items within, into, and out of the warehouse, as well as performing database tasks.
  • Ensure the quality and preservation of materials and equipment stored in Santos warehouses.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and highlighting issues, delays, deficiencies, or safety-related concerns through the Supply Chain Issues and Failures (SCIF) process.
  • Conduct all activities in alignment with company policies and procedures, as well as legislation governing the movement, management, and storage of goods.
What you’ll bring:
You bring extensive experience in performing a range of warehousing and distribution tasks with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. You are proficient in utilising lifting equipment and managing materials, including receipting, cataloguing, and handling purchasing-related tasks within an ERP (SAP) database.

You are skilled at collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to ensure we achieve our commercial objectives.
Ideally, you will possess a current forklift license and have substantial training and experience in directly relevant roles within similar environments.

What you’ll get:
Here, you’ll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects. We don’t shy away from solving tough problems at pace. We like it that way. You can expect to be challenged and supported; to learn and grow.

At Santos, we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. This means a place that is safe; where you are valued and respected, and your contribution is recognised and appreciated. Join us, and you’ll play a role in this too.

Each of our sites offer access to specific amenities that aim to create the best possible benefits to your health, wellbeing and performance.

What you’re part of:
Everywhere you turn you will be a part of a team who are coming together to contribute to our single uniting purpose - to provide reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone

And because it’s not only what you do, but how you do it, you will also contribute to improving the living standards of the communities where we operate, building enduring and respectful relationships that serve a generation. It’s about each of us, and all of us – together.

How to Apply:
Applications must be submitted via the online recruitment system before COB Wednesday 7th May 2025.
