What you’ll do:
This role will support the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst in planning, reporting, and coordinating financial data for the PNG Business Unit. Responsibilities include collecting, analysing, and reporting budget, forecast, and actual financial performance for internal and external stakeholders.

This position is located in Port Moresby. 
  
Key accountabilities include:  
  • Financial Reporting: Support monthly, forecast, and budget reporting for the PNG Business Unit; respond to ad hoc requests. 
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data to highlight key movements and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Understand master data and relationships to support accurate data extraction and reporting.
  • Data Collation: Work with corporate and PNG Finance teams to consolidate financial data into a unified business view.
  • Analytical Tools: Maintain and improve data models and analytical tools to meet evolving stakeholder needs. 

What you’ll bring:
We are looking for a skilled professional with a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration from a recognised university and at least five years of relevant experience. The role requires experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), a working knowledge of the Oil & Gas or Mining industry, and the ability to thrive a deadline-driven environment. Being a qualified member of CPA PNG or actively working towards this qualification is desirable.
