What you’ll do:
Be the Driving Force Behind Operational Excellence.
Are you a seasoned reliability expert ready to shape the future of asset performance? Join us on our journey to become the safest, lowest-cost, and most reliable operator by 2040. We’re seeking a Principal Reliability Engineer to lead our reliability transformation and deliver top-quartile performance in the next 2–3 years.
As our technical subject matter expert in reliability, you will:
  • Lead the development and implementation of world-class reliability processes.
  • Drive productivity and cost reduction through improved equipment reliability and plant availability.
  • Collaborate across maintenance, operations, and business units to embed sustainable reliability practices.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and learning across the organization.
  • Identify and close gaps in reliability processes, tools, and capabilities.
  • Lead investigations into high-impact reliability incidents.
  • Define and embed KPIs to track and improve reliability performance.
  • Chair reliability communities of practice and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and deliver training to uplift reliability competencies.
  • Guide and govern the use of predictive maintenance tools and reliability models.
  • Be the go-to expert for SAP PM and Cenosco systems.
  • Support global asset strategy development and reliability audits.
  
What you’ll bring:
  • Extensive experience in reliability planning and execution.
  • Expertise in strategy optimization utilizing reliability centred maintenance principles.
  • Proven track record in maintenance, investigations, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong technical foundation in reliability engineering and operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Advanced Excel, Pareto analysis, and predictive maintenance technologies.
  • Degree in Engineering (essential).
  • Technical expertise in operations and reliability.
  • Experience across diverse fields, departments, and companies is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Santos systems and standards is a plus.
