What you’ll do:
This role will deliver business value through effective sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier performance. You will support Procurement Leads in developing and executing category plans across key spend areas. 

This role is located in Port Moresby.  

Key accountabilities include:  
  • Deliver sourcing and contract management activities that add long-term value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain category plans for assigned spend areas.
  • Support Category Leads in broader procurement planning and execution.
  • Identify and implement cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment on fallback positions and authority levels. 
  • Support procure-to-pay processes for assigned contracts and categories.
  • Manage supply risks and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Ensure contract compliance and proper administration.
  • Perform transactions in supply chain and ERP systems.
  • Apply critical thinking to align plans with company strategy.
  • Embrace change and support a performance-driven culture.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver team objectives.
  • Contribute to value creation and cost reduction initiatives. 
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records in company systems.
  • Represent Procurement professionally across the business. 
  
What you’ll bring:
We are looking for an experienced procurement or contracts professional with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract Law, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field. You will bring substantial experience in supply chain or contracts roles, ideally with exposure to complex EPC or construction contracts. Familiarity with relevant systems, tools, and industry standards is essential.
