Don’t come for an easy career. Stay for a rewarding one.
At Santos, we do work that matters and always have. When you join us, so will you.

As an ASX 20 global energy company, we’re committed to providing reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone.

To make it happen, we work as One Team and ask ourselves, "How can we?" (Even when others say, "We can’t.")
We’re proud of our history as pioneers, problem-solvers, and pragmatists. And as we strive to achieve our Vision2040, we’ve got our sights set on a culture that is focussed and disciplined to drive value, and entrepreneurial and energised to leave a positive legacy.

The difference isn’t just thinking big - it’s delivering on it too.

As part of the team, you’ll tackle one of the most complex problems of our time. It’s no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.

What you’ll do:
We're seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to take ownership of our Aviation Category – a critical enabler of safe and efficient operations across our Eastern Australia and Papua New Guinea assets.
In this Brisbane based role, you'll develop and execute sourcing strategies for aviation-related services and assets, ensuring the delivery of safe, cost-effective and compliant aviation solutions. You'll maximise commercial value, manage risk and support operational requirements across fixed-wing, rotary, airport services, fuel and ground handling.
This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on our operations while working with diverse stakeholders and leading complex, high-value procurement activities.
•Develop and implement end-to-end aviation category strategies across fixed-wing, rotary, airport services, fuel and ground handling
•Continuously assess market conditions, supplier capabilities and industry trends to inform sourcing decisions
•Lead complex sourcing activities including RFPs, RFQs and direct negotiations
•Develop, negotiate and execute aviation contracts ensuring alignment with business, legal and regulatory requirements
•Establish appropriate commercial models, pricing structures and performance incentives
•Drive supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs and regular performance reviews
•Ensure all aviation procurement activities comply with company policies, aviation regulations and safety standards

What you’ll bring:
•Previous experience in oil and gas or similar industry
•Procurement experience and expert knowledge in procurement, category management and/or strategic sourcing
•A tertiary qualification in engineering, law, business or supply chain management
•Strong commercial acumen including commercial negotiations, contractual terms and conditions, and supplier relationship management
•Certificate/Member status of CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) or equivalent
If you're a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a passion for procurement excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll get:
Here, you’ll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects. We don’t shy away from solving tough problems at pace. We like it that way. You can expect to be challenged and supported; to learn and grow.

At Santos, we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. This means a place that is safe; where you are valued and respected, and your contribution is recognised and appreciated. Join us, and you’ll play a role in this too.

Each of our sites offer access to specific amenities that aim to create the best possible benefits to your health, wellbeing and performance. In Brisbane this includes Onsite Gym facilities, Onsite GP services and many more employee benefits.

What you’re part of:
Everywhere you turn you will be a part of a team who are coming together to contribute to our single uniting purpose - to provide reliable and affordable energy to help create a better world for everyone

And because it’s not only what you do, but how you do it, you will also contribute to improving the living standards of the communities where we operate, building enduring and respectful relationships that serve a generation. It’s about each of us, and all of us - together.

How to Apply:
Applications must be submitted via the online recruitment system before COB 24th April 2026.
