What you’ll do:

Come join our People Experience team in the role of Senior Culture and Engagement Adviser where you’ll shape and nurture organisational culture and foster employee engagement within Santos. This involves designing, implementing and evaluating initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment, drive employee engagement, retention and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of People Experience programs, initiatives and strategies that focus on building capability and performance at Santos. 
  • Working closely with key stakeholders including senior management and business partnering teams to support these programs and deliver actions in the areas of Employee Engagement, Recognition, Culture, Change and Leadership Development.
  • Facilitation of programs
  • Drive improvements through meaningful change programs
  • Supporting the preparation of papers and proposals for executive teams and board meetings
  • Establishing key relationships and networks, both internal and external including the use of service providers, professional associations and industry regulators
  • Maintaining an external focus in relation to research, market dynamics and emerging practices to evolve our internal practices/programs appropriately

What you’ll bring: 

  • Essential is your significant experience in Organisational Development, People Experience and/or General Human Resources
  • Ability to think strategically and manage change across workplace culture and development
  • Problem solving capability, combined with strong analytical and data management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels internally as well as foster relationships external to the business
  • Strong program design experience, along with project management, change management and facilitation skills

You will need tertiary qualifications in a HR related discipline such as Organisation Development, Organisation Psychology, Business Partnering, Talent Management/Acquisition etc. Change and Project Management Accreditation would be highly regarded. In addition, you possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
